Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Cloud 9 Design Studio helps organizations communicate with clarity, purpose, and impact through strategic design and messaging.
Our roots are in the healthcare industry, where we developed patient education and marketing materials for an emerging healthcare company that later became part of WebMD through a series of acquisitions. This experience established a foundation of thoughtful communication, audience-focused design, and attention to detail that continues to guide our work today.
Over the past two decades, we have partnered with organizations of all sizes, helping them build brands, launch initiatives, communicate complex ideas, and create meaningful connections with their audiences. Originally from Los Angeles, Cassie Eaton has spent her career transforming ideas into compelling visual stories. As Founder and Principal of Cloud 9 Design Studio, she brings a passion for creativity, strategic thinking, and collaboration that has become the foundation of the firm's success.
Clients often describe Cassie as a catalyst for creativity, someone with a unique ability to spark ideas, uncover possibilities, and guide projects from concept to completion. Her talent for creative ideation is rooted in a lifetime immersed in the arts. As the daughter of two accomplished artists, Cassie grew up in a creative environment where storytelling, design, and visual communication were part of everyday life. She was introduced to the creative process at an early age while working alongside her parents' company, learning the fundamentals of storyboarding and visual narrative development for Hollywood film productions. Those formative experiences instilled an appreciation for the power of ideas and the discipline required to bring them to life. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design, Cassie quickly established a reputation for distinctive design solutions and exceptional client service. Her work generated strong word-of-mouth referrals, repeat engagements, and requests from clients who specifically sought her creative expertise. As demand continued to grow, she founded Cloud 9 Design Studio with a vision of expanding beyond individual talent to create a collaborative team capable of delivering comprehensive creative services. Over the years, she has built a trusted network of design professionals, technology specialists, production partners, and industry experts, enabling Cloud 9 to provide full-service capabilities while maintaining the personalized attention clients value. Today, Cassie continues to lead the studio's creative direction while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Her parents remain an enduring source of inspiration, and she continues to collaborate with them on personal creative projects, carrying forward the artistic influence that helped shape her career. |
